IHCS Families,
Please be aware that Part Two of our Career Day is scheduled for tomorrow, March 12th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, weather permitting. This event is vehicle-based, allowing students to explore various career-related vehicles parked in front of the school and learn how they are used in different professions.
Due to this, the front drop-off/pick-up lane will be closed from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. If your student arrives late or needs to be picked up during this time, please note that the lane will be closed to through traffic. Please use the parking lot if you need to visit the front office.
Thank you for your cooperation in making this event a great learning experience for our students!

Mariner Parents and Families,
We are excited to offer "Gaming Club" for students in grades 3 and up! In this club, students will have the opportunity to design and create their own video games, learning valuable skills in game development and coding.

We invite your child to our FIRST LEGO League robotics tryouts! This opportunity is for students ages 9-14 that are interested in participating in the Spring Season.
Tryout Details:
Date: Wednesday, February 19th
Time: 3:45 P.M. - 4:35 P.M.
Location: Room 121
What to Expect: Each student will give a 5-minute presentation to showcase how they embody the core values of FIRST LEGO League.
These values are:
Discovery: We explore new skills and ideas.
Innovation: We use creativity and persistence to solve problems.
Impact: We apply what we learn to improve our world.
Inclusion: We respect each other and embrace our differences.
Teamwork: We are stronger when we work together.
Fun: We enjoy and celebrate what we do!
In their presentation, students should share specific examples that demonstrate how they live these values and how their qualities and commitment will help build a supportive and successful team.
