El día comienza con la Bandera del Viernes a las 8:15 de la mañana, con actuaciones de los estudiantes y los aspectos culturales más destacados. Luego, no se pierda nuestro evento «Amor y Almuerzo Alrededor del Mundo» durante la hora del almuerzo de su hijo. ¡No podemos esperar para darle la bienvenida en el campus para este día especial de celebración, la conexión, y la comunidad!

Queremos hacerles saber de una tendencia preocupante que involucra cuentas de TikTok que se están creando fuera de la escuela. Estas cuentas están compartiendo fotos, videos y otra información sensible que involucra a los estudiantes. Si bien estas publicaciones se están haciendo en casa, creemos que es importante llamar su atención sobre esto y utilizarlo como una oportunidad para el aprendizaje y la comunicación abierta.
Además, nos gustaría recordar a las familias que de acuerdo con la política del distrito, no se permite el uso del teléfono celular durante el horario escolar. Cualquier teléfono que esté visible o en uso durante el día escolar será confiscado y retenido en la oficina hasta que un padre o tutor pueda recogerlo.
Por favor, tómese un momento para hablar con su hijo sobre la importancia de la seguridad del teléfono y de Internet, incluyendo el impacto de compartir contenido en línea, respetando la privacidad de los demás, y siguiendo las reglas de la escuela y del distrito.

Dear Families,
We want to make you aware of a concerning trend involving TikTok accounts that are being created outside of school. These accounts are sharing pictures, videos, and other sensitive information involving students. While these posts are being made at home, we believe it’s important to bring this to your attention and use it as an opportunity for learning and open communication.
Additionally, we’d like to remind families that according to district policy, there is no cell phone use allowed during school hours. Any phones that are visible or in use during the school day will be confiscated and held at the office until a parent or guardian can pick it up.
Please take a moment to speak with your child about the importance of phone and internet safety, including the impact of sharing content online, respecting others’ privacy, and following school and district rules.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us keep our school community safe and respectful.

Don't forget to bring all of your money in TOMORROW 5/9 for the World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser! Money must be turned in by 10am (front office) for students to be considered for the grand prize ($100), the class grand prize (5lbs chocolate bar) and magic show attendance (selling 2 boxes or more). All students who sell 1 box of chocolate and turn in their money by tomorrow will receive a wallet! ¡No se olviden de traer todo su dinero MAÑANA 5/9 para la recaudación de fondos de World's Finest Chocolate!
