All PESD families are welcome to access these services if they need extra support.

Perris ESD SHINES BRIGHT at the City of Perris Christmas Parade! What an incredibly joyous day celebrating with the City of Perris at the 2025 Christmas Parade this past Saturday. Our Perris Elementary School District showed up and truly wowed the crowd! Our incredible Governing Board helped lead the way connecting with our amazing community with holiday cheers and endearing waves. Our Innovative Horizons Band, Cheer and Flag squads came with their energetic performances and festive music which brought tremendous joy and holiday cheer to the families lined along the streets. Our Clearwater Science Olympiads displayed their academic brilliance and innovative spirit with their collective teamwork and beautiful smiles, making our district shine. This type of celebration is a powerful testament to how the community acknowledges all of the amazing strengths and gifts of our students and district. We are currently reviewing the schedule for our district's early release day with the goal of establishing a unified early release day for all schools, including charter (IHCS). This goal is to streamline operations and ensure consistency across the entire district.

1. The optimal day of the week for the aligned early release schedule.
2. Whether aligning the early release days across all district and charter schools best serves our community and staff (we will be surveying our staff separately).

SEL superpowers take center stage at Palms! What an incredible day of sharing and collaboration at Palms Elementary school where the team showcased our well-being and belonging initiatives and the integration of our SEL superpowers with 10 visiting school districts from around the county. Our visitors got a firsthand look at how Palms Elementary is embedding belonging and well-being into daily school culture with community agreements and setting the positive learning intentions for the day, with community circles by bringing student stories and well-being to the forefront of community building, the use of our Sown To Grow digital platform which allows for our students to build self awareness around their emotions and the why behind them, and watching our phenomenal teachers and staff actively teach into our SEL superpowers. Good Hope Elementary is Rolling!
We are absolutely thrilled to have Good Hope elementary present at last weeks PESD school board meeting about their fantastic all kids bike program for kindergartners! This amazing initiative is supporting all of our kindergarten students at Good Hope with the foundational skills they need to ride a bike safely. Beyond just learning to pedal, the program is helping our five-year-olds develop crucial skills like balancing, coordination and control, spatial awareness, confidence, and self reliance, and following directions and safety rules. Kudos to the entire Good Hope team for fostering the love of movement and building these essential developmental skills in our youngest of learners. What an incredible day of competitive scientific play at the Science Olympiad this past Saturday, November 15. We loved seeing the collaboration and talent at Clearwater Elementary and Perris Elementary students join forces!
