Hello families,
Staff Appreciation is being celebrated at IHCS during the week of May 11-May 15. Write a message of appreciation to any staff member (custodian, teacher, librarian, front office, crossing guard, supervision aide, instructional aide, kitchen staff, specialists, counselors, etc.)
Please complete this form.
We are excited to announce that enrollment for our Summer STEAM Discovery Camp is now open!
This year’s theme, “The Science of it All!”, will engage students in hands-on, project-based learning through investigations, design challenges, collaboration, movement, and presentations—all while exploring how science connects to the world around them.

We are grateful for your ongoing partnership and collaboration. We are asking for your support in reinforcing our school dress code expectations with our Mariners.
Our dress code helps promote student safety, a respectful learning environment, fewer distractions, and school pride and professionalism. Please review the attached images with your child as a reminder of appropriate school attire.
We appreciate families partnering with us and your support helps us maintain a campus culture where all students can focus on learning and feel successful.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support!

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6, 2026 for Coffee with the Principal, ELAC, and AAPAC parent meetings. If you would like to join us virtually you can connect via google meet at the following link: meet.google.com/vfu-xsyi-cwn

We invite you to join us in supporting our students during CAASPP testing over the next two weeks! Each morning from 7:30–8:00 AM, we encourage parents to gather at the front of the school to cheer on our students as they arrive. Bring a positive attitude and, if you’d like, wave encouraging signs to help boost their confidence and start their day strong.
In addition, our amazing parent volunteers are currently preparing decorations for upcoming promotion celebrations. If you would like to support these efforts, you are welcome to contribute by purchasing items from the wishlist:

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our students!
Warm regards,
IHCS Administration
Please share your feedback on our programs by participating in these two surveys. Your input allows us to improve and support your child's education.
Please take a moment to complete BOTH surveys for IHCS. We truly appreciate your time and feedback as we work together as partners in your child’s academic journey.
Complete BOTH the Title I Survey and the IHCS LCAP Survey.
Thank you for your continued support!
Our next event in our Parent Workshop series will be taking place on May 1st in the Innovation Room. Please join us after Friday Flag!
Nuestro próximo evento de la serie de Talleres para Padres se llevará a cabo el 1 de mayo en el Salón de Innovación (Innovation Room). ¡Acompáñenos después de la ceremonia de viernes de bandera!

We want to share information regarding steps our staff have taken to ensure the safety of all individuals. In light of recent events at a high school in a neighboring district, and out of an abundance of caution, we are taking additional measures to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. This includes increased district support and ongoing visibility and communication with local law enforcement regarding the reporting of any possible concerns that may arise.
Please be assured that there are no credible safety concerns at this time to Innovative Horizons, or any other school within the Perris Elementary School District. All schools and programs, including after school activities, will continue to operate as scheduled.
We deeply value our partnership with you. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our school administration at 951-657-0728 or the PESD Student Services office at 951-940-4942.
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our community safe.
Best regards,
IHCS Administration
