As we prepare to celebrate Black History Month this February, we invite our school community to join us in making this a meaningful and engaging experience for our students.
Families who are interested in supporting our celebrations may contribute by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List. The link provided includes materials that will be used for student activities, games, and classroom experiences throughout the month. Items can be donated directly through the link for easy delivery. We are also looking for family members and community partners who will volunteer to host games or activities, or who can help connect us with guest speakers to enrich our Black History Month programming. Calling all Mariners! Happy New Year! This is a friendly reminder that it’s time to return to school. Classes resume on Monday, January 12, 2026, with school beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students can earn our next Perfect Attendance Movie Trip by arriving on time and remaining at school for the full day (8:00–3:30; Fridays 8:00–12:00) every day from January 12 through May 29. Reminder: Anchor into STEM – Friday, December 19
Parents planning to attend the Anchor into STEM activity should sign in with a staff member in the foyer before Friday Flag Assembly begins.
Families of K–5 students are invited to join us on Friday, December 19, from 9:00–9:30 a.m., immediately following the Friday Flag Assembly. Students will remain in the gym after the assembly to participate in the STEM activity with their family member.
