Mariner Families!
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, we invite you to contribute to our festivities by volunteering during students' lunch hours (10am-1pm). We are seeking enthusiastic parent volunteers to help with a variety of activities, including coloring, facilitating games, and reading books.
If you are interested in participating, please stop by the front office to sign up for a time slot that fits your schedule. Please note that volunteers must have completed the district’s volunteer application process and their designated ID card. Parents, please be on the look out for your student's permission slip for the after school mariachi program. Students are in the process of returning permission slips to the front office by September 4th and mariachi class begins on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 3:45-5:45. Please remind your mariachi son/daughter that they are to report to ELEVO if they are in ELEVO and we will pick them up for mariachi class when we are on our way to class. If your student is not in ELEVO your student will be directed to meet at the SIBLINGS area by the front office and Mr. Llausas, Mrs. Casimiro Garcia, Mrs. Muniz, Mrs. Talavera and Ms. Ramos will gather at the siblings area and guide them to their mariachi class. Along with your parent/student permission slip a form with all detailed information is also included. Stay excited! We have some room available if you would like your daughter/son to join. See Mr. Candelaria if you would like to learn how to play the trumpet or the bass guitar. We will practice each Thursday and Saturday. Saturday class will be held from 8:00-10:00 and there will be a December performance and a performance in May. I love our school do you love your school! Thank you, Mr. Candelaria

We want to inform you that we will be conducting a routine fire drill at school today. This drill is an important part of our safety procedures, ensuring that both students and staff are well-prepared in case of an emergency.
Please be assured that these drills are carried out with the utmost care and attention to safety. Our staff is trained to guide students through the process smoothly and calmly. The drill will take place at a designated time, and we anticipate it will last for approximately 15 minutes.
Our primary goal is to ensure that all students are familiar with emergency protocols in a supportive environment. We appreciate your understanding and support in reinforcing the importance of these safety measures with your children.

Queremos informarles que realizaremos un simulacro de incendio de rutina en la escuela hoy. Este simulacro es una parte importante de nuestros procedimientos de seguridad, asegurando que tanto los estudiantes como el personal estén bien preparados en caso de una emergencia.
Les aseguramos que estos simulacros se llevan a cabo con el mayor cuidado y atención a la seguridad.
