Good Evening,
Friendly reminder, Thursday October 15th is the California Great Shake Out Drill. Safety is always a top priority at Young Explorers Academy! As part of the Great California Shake Out, our students and staff will participate in an earthquake safety drill to practice what to do in the event of an earthquake.
Students will learn how to protect their heads and bodies, remain calm, and follow adult directions. Once it is safe, classrooms will practice evacuating to their designated outdoor safety area where staff will account for all students. We encourage you to talk about safety drills in the morning with your children and also to ask your children about how the event went after school!
We thank you for your continued support of our TK Program!

Dear YEA Families,
We wanted to make you aware that emergency response personnel were called to our campus at the end of the school day today in response to a student medical emergency. Thankfully, all parties are okay.
We sincerely appreciate our families for remaining patient and graciously moving vehicles to quickly provide access for emergency personnel to enter our campus and provide support right at dismissal. Your cooperation helped ensure that the situation could be addressed safely and efficiently.
Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and continued support of our YEA community.
